Rustic Spinach Salad
This salad is quite easy to prepare!  Can be used as a meal or a side dish or first course although size and serving quantity may need to be adjusted accordingly.  Prepackaged ingredients can be utilized including cooked chicken and pre-washed spinach.  The Kraft Tuscan House Italian Dressing and Marinade is a must!

Ingredients
8    cups baby spinach leaves
2    small Fuji apples, thinly sliced, cut in half
2    cups chopped cooked chicken breasts
1    cup medium Thompson seedless grapes (optional)
½ cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
¼ cup PLANTERS Lightly Salted NUT●rition™ Heart Healthy Mix
½ cup KRAFT Tuscan house Italian Dressing and Marinade

Substitution:
Sliced almonds can be utilized instead of the PLANTERS mix.

Restaurant-Inspired Tip:
Toss nuts with 2 tablespoons brown sugar in nonstick skillet; cook on medium heat until sugar is caramelized, stirring constantly to avoided burning,  Spread into a single layer and removed skillet from the heat; let cool.  Break into small pieces and toss or top salad.

Preparation

Combine all ingredients, toss and serve.

Presentation Note:
For a better visual presentation, divide and combine ingredients onto 4 salad plates.  Build each plate starting with spinach; encircle spinach with apple pieces and grapes; top with chicken then cheese; add dressing and top with nuts.

Serves 4 people, 2¼ cups each
